Automated Live Production at the Munich Tenancy Court Day with Stream1 – A Case Study

On 30 June 2025, MiruSuite supported the 16th Munich Tenancy Court Day. Our partner Stream1 streamed six hours of high-quality presentations smoothly to the internet. Thanks to fully automated person-tracking with three PTZ cameras controlled by MiruSuite, the speakers and stage programme were always perfectly framed.

On Site: Intelligent PTZ Control Powered by AI

Stream1 handled the live streaming of the full-day event and deployed three Canon CR-N700 cameras. One covered the wide shot, while the other two handled automatic tracking of the presenters. MiruSuite simultaneously controlled one or two PTZ cameras and reliably followed the speakers - even during fast, irregular movements on stage. Our AI-based person detection determined head and body posture in real time and always positioned the camera optimally. Thanks to local processing and broad hardware compatibility, MiruSuite integrated seamlessly into the existing setup.

Thanks to MiruSuite, the technicians could focus on directing instead of constantly performing monotonous joystick movements.

Backup Stream and Fully Automated Live Switching

Parallel to the main stream, we tested MiruSuite’s AutoCut feature. The software analysed audio and video feeds, detected applause and slide changes, and automatically switched between the wide shot, speaker camera, presentation feed, and picture-in-picture overlays. Through an existing vMix instance, MiruSuite coordinated the switching in a real six-hour live deployment. This allowed Stream1 to trial the AutoCut feature in a real-world scenario, with consistently positive feedback:

The live cut in the backup stream delivered convincing results and demonstrated how AutoCut can further automate workflows.
